Who we are

This website is operated by Dormetric Ltd, Unit 9 Stondon Hall Farm, Ongar Road, Brentwood, Essex CM15 0LD (“Dormetric”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of personal data collected through this site. You can contact us at info@dormetric.com or on 01277 885 710.

What we collect

When you contact us using the form, by email or by phone, we collect the details you give us: usually your name, email address, phone number, company or site name and the content of your message.

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, images from the Unsplash content delivery network and maps from OpenStreetMap; these providers receive your IP address when your browser requests the files.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, provide a quote or attend a fault.
To carry out and administer work you have asked us to do, including maintenance records.
To meet our legal obligations, for example for accounting and health and safety.

Our legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and compliance with legal obligations.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to work we carry out are kept for as long as needed for warranty, safety and legal purposes.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers who help us run our business (such as email and IT providers), under appropriate agreements, or where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@dormetric.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
